2024 Elanto Vineyard Chardonnay, Mornington Peninsula, VIC

Mid-straw gold. Citrus blossom, grapefruit pith and struck flint on the nose, with lemon, buttered croissant and a whisper of chalk and gunflint that will intensify with bottle age. The palate is full-bodied and rich, firmly in the savoury spectrum, with layers of stone fruit, spiced honeycomb and nougat. The texture is dense and almost al dente from creamy, nutty lees, framed by an uplifting natural acidity and a saline precision that draws the wine together.
