John Bligh didn't plan to become a restaurant owner and sommelier. He planned to have dinner.
One night in September 2020, John walked into Annata Restaurant and experienced the extraordinary cuisine of Executive Chef Jordon Garcia. Jordon’s culinary skill, creativity, and ability to craft such distinctive and beautiful flavours left a lasting impression. Just two months later, after discovering the restaurant was for sale, John made the life-changing decision to purchase Annata following a long career in the technology industry. He wanted to build something completely different; something centred on hospitality, creativity, wine, and human connection.
John took the Annata keys on December 1, 2020. Then Covid hit Sydney.
